I've had a wonderful opportunity to work at UNC Charlotte Enrollment Programs and Communications (EPC) since Fall 2024! The office is associated with Orientation, Transition, and Retention for the University, which has given me the chance to interact and work with a variety of people. Throughout my internship, I've worked on a range of print and digital designs to engage with prospective and current students at UNC Charlotte.
HISPANIC-LATINX ADMISSIONS BOOKLET
At EPC, we collaborate with a variety of campus partners as our clients, with our biggest one being the Admissions Office. One of my first projects involved designing a printed booklet for prospective first year and transfer Spanish-speaking students. We wanted the feel of the booklet to be elevated and youthful like the Admissions brand, so we included lots of vibrant photography and hand-drawn assets.

FALL 2024 REGISTRATION WEEK
One of the most rewarding projects I've worked on was for registration week. This is a week long event where students register for their classes for the following semester and have the opportunity to win prize giveaways and freebies our tabling events. Since the tabling fell on the same week as Halloween, the EPC office decided to make everything with a fun halloween twist.
For this event, I made a series of Instagram story posts to remind students of our event tabling and to connect them with resources to help with course registration. The next two projects are in collaboration with my fellow Creative Services Intern at EPC. We designed Charlotte x Halloween stickers, so I ended up illustrating the University's pickaxe icon on a carved pumpkin. I was most excited to work together on designing our giveaway t-shirts. We wanted to represent the inside jokes among students on campus, so we created a stamp design to represent these bits and pieces of the college culture. Lastly, I designed a set of tabling flyers to encourage students to stay connected with EPC and interact with the event.

NODA INTERN DIGITAL MARKETING PACKET
Every summer, the office hires at least one graduate student to be their NODA intern for the summer to assist all things Orientation, Transition, and Retention related such as Summer Orientation and supporting Orientation Counselors. I was in charge of designing this digital marketing pdf to entice possible applicants to join the team at UNC Charlotte. The goals that we had for this project was to show of the beauty of the Queen City, give insights into the office, show potential workspace connections, and emphasize the personal experiences of past NODA interns.
